The Malpica Lab goes back to its roots! With the newest member of our lab we go back exploring ecological aspects of the great predator that we worked on several years ago, the Great White Shark! Claudia Isabel Vázquez Aguilar, who just started her PhD at UABC on Coastal Oceanography will be focusing on aspects of the ecology and energetic expenditure of this iconic apex marine predator. She will be developing her project closely with colleagues Dr. Omar Santana from ECOCIMATI and Dr. Mauricio Hoyos from Pelagios Kakunja. Welcome and all the best in your research Claudia!
