UABC recently invited us to contribute with nature oriented theme photos to be considered to illustrate a calendar part of different private industry, local government, conservation oriented NGOs and academic institutions conservation outreach initiative. Happy to announce that one of our photos was selected for the month of June, I entitled it "reef ballerina" which I think represents this pretty nudibranch Hermissenda opalescens as it slowly cruises the rocky reefs of Isla Todos Santos in Baja California. Happy to promote conservation outreach through these initiatives!
